^ Yep.  We're in Earth Sciences right now.  If this was posted in math, the people who wanted to help with math would be able to find this question easier.  


But to find the mean of numbers, you're finding the average.  And to do that, you add all the numbers together, so $$3+5+6+9+3+3+6$$Then you divide that sum by how many numbers there were.
