what do you need help with?

OpenStudy (helpmeplease14):

14

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There are 3 boxes. 2 of them have the 1 dollar bill. so your chances of picking the box with 1$ would be 2 boxes / 3 boxes = 2/3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2/3 is the answer. If they had asked for the $100 instead, it would be 1/3. double checking answer (don't have to do this but I'll just show you) (2/3) + (1/3) = 3/3 = 1

OpenStudy (helpmeplease14):

For 14?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes ! :)

OpenStudy (helpmeplease14):

Thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Np gl with your assignment :)

OpenStudy (helpmeplease14):

Is it 2/3 for 13 too

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No, since we have 2/3 for the 1$ the 100 $ bill would be 1-(2/3) = (3/3) - (2/3) = 1/3 the answer is 1/3

OpenStudy (helpmeplease14):

OK thanks again for the help
