@TheSmartOne Again failing with factoring.. Halp

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[x^2+x-1\] Is there a factor of this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I tried to solve it and I couldnt find a factor by any way.

Nnesha (nnesha):

yep right you need product of AC= which is -1 and middle number is = 1

Nnesha (nnesha):

factor of 1 is just 1 times 1 but 1+1 =2 or 1-1 =0 which isn't the middle number so the answer is ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

answer is there is no factor, right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or I am just idiot.

Nnesha (nnesha):

yes right that equation isn't factorable

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you! :)have a nice day!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

could you help me solve a limit too?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

limit as x aproaches -1 of \[\frac{ x^2+3 }{ x ^2+x-1 }\]

Nnesha (nnesha):

sorry i haven't learned limits yet :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay. Nevermind. Good day.
