OpenStudy (anonymous):

Charlie measured the circle-shaped part of a sun his sister drew on the chalkboard. The circumference of the circle is 81.64 cm. What is the diameter? (Use 3.14 for .) A. 26 cm B. 6.5 cm C. 84.5 cm D. 13 cm

OpenStudy (dtan5457):

The formula for circumference would be pi x diameter. If you know the circumference, and want to know the diameter.... fix the formula to circumference/pi(3.14)

??

OpenStudy (dtan5457):

What is the given circumference here?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

81.64

OpenStudy (dtan5457):

Okay. So all you need now is. circumference/pi(3.14)

OpenStudy (dtan5457):

Just divide by pi.
