There is an ecosystem that gets abundant sun, moderate temperatures and regular rain. What might you expect in this ecosystem? The diversity of microorganisms is likely very low. Soil quality is likely very poor. There are only a few species of animals living there. Soil quality is likely very good.

OpenStudy (inexilewetrust):

What guess do you have for this question?

OpenStudy (acxbox22):

okay so lets eliminate what we already know isnt true if there is good sunlight and sufficient rain, then we can eliminate the first two

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its its either c or D @acxbox22

OpenStudy (inexilewetrust):

Exactly, which is the best choice?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

C>????

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@InExileWeTrust

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Mehek14

Mehek (mehek14):

You chose C?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

Mehek (mehek14):

If it is good in the ecosystem, then I'm pretty sure it isn't C

OpenStudy (inexilewetrust):

I would think D. most likely is the correct answer. The ecosystem has a good amount of sun, rain, and moderate temperatures.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh well D than .

OpenStudy (anonymous):

D is the correct answer

Mehek (mehek14):

yea. from the good rain, enough sun, good temp, it would be D

A population is a group of organisms belonging to the same species that lives in a particular area. a group of closely-related organisms that lives in a particular area. the sum of all species living in a particular area. a group of organisms comprised of similar species that lives in a particular area.

Mehek (mehek14):

it has to be from the same species

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so that is A >??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@InExileWeTrust @mehek14

OpenStudy (inexilewetrust):

A. seems to be the most logical answer. @mehek14 do you agree?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that is correct !!!!

Ruraltown is inhabited by 5000 residents. If 100 people immigrate to Ruraltown each year and 50 people emigrate from Ruraltown each year, what will the population of Ruraltown be in 8 years? 4,600 residents 5,400 residents 1,200 residents 6,200 residents

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@InExileWeTrust

OpenStudy (inexilewetrust):

What is your guess?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm thinking B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@InExileWeTrust

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Mesopretty @M@Mikayla_Rose

OpenStudy (inexilewetrust):

No. That is incorrect.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

c>>>

OpenStudy (inexilewetrust):

Oh, wait. Sorry, I read the question wrong

OpenStudy (inexilewetrust):

I think B. is the correct answer. If 100 people move there, that would be 800 in 8 years. If 50 leave each year, that would be 400. Subtract 400 from 800 which gives you 400. Add the 400 and 5000 and that would give you B.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that is correct >)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Over time, the human population has continued to grow at an exponential rate. Which of the following factors has contributed to increases in population growth? The invention of nuclear reactors, solar panels, and other technologies that provide an alternative to fossil fuels. The invention of the combine harvester to replace horse and mule teams. The invention of patient-triggered ventilators that are synchronized with natural breathing patterns. all of these
