you should draw this and use your knowledge of trig ratios. worry about getting it to the "nearest tenth of a meter" after you have orientated yourself.

It should be cos(6)=x/170, or 170(cos(6))=x, the horizontal distance (cosine needs to be evaluated and confirmed by a calculator or internet).
