Insert semicolons between two complete sentences to combine them as one. 

For example:
Today I walked along the shore of the beach; it was quite a spectacular view, which gave me a feeling of tranquility.

The first sentence in that is "Today I walked alone the shore of the beach."
The second sentence is "It was quite a spectacular view, which gave me a feeling of tranquility."
Semicolons are a way to combine two complete sentences.
