please help
we need to determine EG before we can determine EC
or, we can go about this in a more general way to determine a formula we can use
typos ... let me edit
the pythag thrm tells us that a^2 + b^2 = c^2 therefore let EG = c c^2 + z^2 = (EC)^2 ^^^ a^2 + b^2 + z^2 = (EC)^2 ^^^
we have 8 5 and 12, square them add them and then sqrt the sum
the square root of 8 is 2.82 the square root of 5 is 2.23 and the square root of 12 is 3.46
squre first 8^2 + 5^2 + 12^2 = (EC)^2 64+25+144 = (EC)^2 144+89 = (EC)^2 233 = (EC)^2
since 15^2 = 225, im gonna guess this is a little over 16
okay sooo uhm what do we do next
click the one thats a little over 15 ....
ohh okay lol i thought there where more steps haha so its 15.3
(EC)^2 = 233 15^2 < EC^2 < 16^2 225 < 233 < 256
15.3 is fair enough yes :)
thanks alot CX
good luck
