Well, I remember when symbols were working </3 RIP Symbols. Anyways, I, and others, do not hae a clue what causes this, maybe google, maybe the font doesn't allow it, who knows! But it has been heard they are working on it (good luck_

Usually it's not a good idea to use the question mark in the title of a post.

Well, it is a change thaw was done in language support. I think it was done to prevent the attacks that were being done with special characters where they stacked so many up that it messed with machines. Sadly, it was done in a blanket way. This also kills all foreign language things.
