When you hover over the reply box, does it show a blocked (  $\color{red}{\oslash}$   ) signed on your cursor? Same for everything else

Sometimes closing has a lag to it, so try refreshing after you closed your question. It may be closed when you refresh. Also, try clearing your history next. If that doesn't work, restart computer
