Directions: Drag the tiles to the correct boxes to complete the pairs. Let A = 2, B =2/5 , and C =3/8 . Find the value of each expression below. 2 1/40 1 3/20 1 39/40 1 7/40 2 - 2/5 + 3/8 <---------> 2 + 2/5 - 3/8 <-------> 2 x 2/5 + 3/8 <--------> 2 x 3/8 + 2/5 <-------->

Hey!

OpenStudy (amistre64):

a screenshot may be better to decipher this with, unless you can provide more context

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well I don't have the download and I can't. This is all the context it has. I can space it out more though.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

i dont know what arrowBoth means is all, my thought is that this is just an order of operations setup

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well it is supposed to look like this: <------>

OpenStudy (amistre64):

if its order of operations, and you are using the USA standard, then all of them are setup so that there are no conflicts. just work them left to right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The arrows I mean

OpenStudy (amistre64):

i still have no idea what the arrows represent, nor do i see any tile stuff.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well The fractions like this 2 1/40, 1 3/20, 1 39/40, 1 7/40 is the stuff you are supposed to match with the things like this A - B + C <---------> A + B - C <-------> A x B + C <--------> A x C + B <---------> and they are supposed to match.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hi could you help me with this?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

what is A-B? now +C what is A+B? now -C what is AxB? now +C what is AxC? now +B

OpenStudy (amistre64):

is the issue that you dont know how to work fractions?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok so A represents 2 and B= 2/5 And C= 3/8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

They are supposed to equal one of the fractions

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and you have to put the fractions with with the letters

OpenStudy (amistre64):

..lost connect trying to reconnect ... laglaglag ..... i simply cant play on this site at the moment.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I can change them

OpenStudy (amistre64):

A-B, what is 2 - 2/5 ?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

2 = 1+1 1+1 -2/5 ----- 1 3/5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry had to get out and come back in.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok

OpenStudy (amistre64):

1 + 3(8)/40 +3(5)/40 ---------- 1 + 3(13)/40 1 39/40
