please check my work will give medal, fan, and testimonial if you'd like and if i have already i'll give you a medal and thank you (lol) anyway thanks in advance have a great afternoon (or whatever time it is where you live) :]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

are you trying to find the length of AC ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no.. I'm trying to find the measure of the angle A

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok use SOH CAH TOA

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I already did my equation above like I was told to ^ not sure if I did it right but I did it.

|dw:1427743505528:dw|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So I do it using sin = opposite/hypotenuse and not using cosec 0 = hypotenuse/opposite? I know how to solve it but I don't know which one to use (hope that made sense)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

use sin

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cos will give u angle of C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but your missing the bottom length of AC so it wont work.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay I did it right the first time then. Okay well my first answer was 0.006981260298 how do I round this to the nearest tenth? I don't need to find AC it's not asked yet.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It tells me to find the measure of angle A and B first and then it asks me to find the length of AC but I already know how to do that I'm just stuck on the angles.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so the <A is 24 degrees.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how did you get that answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sin^-1(2/5) => 24 deg

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OMG I totally forgot about that xD OMG I'm laughing so hard i forgot you have to turn 4 -> 2 and 10 -> 5 so WOW of me thank you! That explains why I kept getting a weird answer XD alright one last question for angle B would it also be sin? @arjund12

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just do <B = 90 - <A

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so you get <B = 90 - 24 => 66 deg

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay yeah but I have to show my work and which I chose so I need to pick sin, cos, tan, etc..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

use cos because you have adj and hypo lengths.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

alrighty thanks so much!! :] have a great day/night/afternoon/evening/morning

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks you to.
