OpenStudy (confluxepic):

Let me tell you about diffusion. Diffusion is basically diffusing equally everywhere. It's spreading it evenly.

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

That should be enough information to get the answer. @logan13

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

Diffusion can happen anywhere.

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

You get it now?

@gabbyalicorn Direct answers are against the code of conduct.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It is a bit more than spreading everywhere evenly. In fact, it is almost never even. Diffusion is a process where a gas or liquid comes to an even concentration across a closed system. This is due to the molecules of the gas or liquid hitting and rebounding off each other; it is a random process. Now, if you have more molecules packed together wouldn't they have a higher chance of hitting each other than if the molecules are spread out evenly and as distance to each other as possible? What do we say if there is a lot of something in a container compared to another container with less? It is more concentrated. Does that help?
