(6 + 8 + 12 + 15 + 18 + 20 + 20 + 20 + 26 + 28 + 29 + 30 + 31 + 32 + 32 + 34) / 16 = 361/16 = 22.5625 (this is mean without the 20 added) median is : (20 + 26) / 2 = 46/2 = 23 (without 20 added) with 20 added : (361 + 20) / 17 = 381/17 = 22.411 median = 20 mean is decreased by : 22.5625 - 22.411 = 0.1515 median is decreased by 3
