OpenStudy (mathmath333):

\(AB\) is the smallest side . \(CD\) is the longest side. Show that \(1.)\quad \angle A>\angle C\\2.)\quad \angle B>\angle D\)

@phi

OpenStudy (phi):

what have you been studying ? Hopefully have some hint on how to do this one ? (because I don't yet)

OpenStudy (phi):

yes

OpenStudy (mathmath333):

question doesnt have any hint

OpenStudy (phi):

no, I was asking what have you been studying? either theorems of triangles or using Law of Cosines?

OpenStudy (mathmath333):

it is related to triangle inequality theorem and the theorem which says that in a triangle a longest side is the side opposite to the largest angle

OpenStudy (mathmath333):

\(\bf \text{ Triangle inequality theorem}\):sum of two side are always greater than the third side.
