Calc question involing H'Hospitals rule. Please help :-)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

L'Hopital's *

OpenStudy (freckles):

you have inf/inf so you can apply that rule

OpenStudy (freckles):

differentiate top and bottom

OpenStudy (anonymous):

20x-5/18x

OpenStudy (freckles):

you can do it again since you have inf/inf

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OH! Ok ok ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This is the one you keep doing again until you get an answer

OpenStudy (freckles):

but there is a shorter way you don't need l'hospital for this one you have a polynomial on top and bottom and they both have the same degree so you can take the limit as: \[\frac{\text{ coefficient of } x^2 \text{ on top }} {\text{ coefficient of } x^2 \text{ on bottom }}\] but you will get the same thing doing it the way you chose

Thanks bunches amigo
