What is the inverse equation of the function, y = 3x - 6? y -1 = 3x + 6 x -1 = 3y - 6 y -1 = y -1 = x + 6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

flip x and y around so now you have x = 3y - 6. Solve for y, so now you have y = (x +6)/3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so C? *it's supposed to say y^-1=(x+6)/3

OpenStudy (anonymous):
