CHECK FOR FAN AND MEDAL... Find angle B- A. 50° B. 55° C. 60° D. 65° D right?
No, that's incorrect.
3x + 1 + 2x - 1 + 40 = 180
.......................................................... dangit
You would set it up as 40 + (3x +1) + (2x - 1) = 180. Combine like terms to give you 5x + 40 = 180. Subtract 40, and divide by five giving you x = 28 Plug x into the equation for b, giving you 55
Solve for 'x'

you would be correct :) Since the angle sum of a triangle = 180. And we're given one angle = 40. You'd subtract 180 - 40 = 140 140 degrees would be the total of angle A and angle B Therefore, 3x + 1 + 2x - 1 = 140 Then solve for x. So 5x = 140 Therefore x = 28 Then you'd substitute it back into Angle B ( 2x + 1) and you'll get 55 degrees which is correct :)
thanks everyone.
None of you are supposed to give answers -.-
We have to GUIDE them to the answer, we need their PARTICIPATION. You can't do all the work for them -.-
she already knew the answer? so .. wasn't she just checking? LOL
okay guys thank you lets move on XD
@butterflydreamer She had the wrong answer..
i dont want problems other than math :(
omg... @iGreen FACEPALM. i read option D as 55... oops :S
Okay, just make sure you guide her next time..if she got the answer right and you're just checking it, that's fine.
xD that's what i thought i was doing... seriously, my bad -_-
