do you need help with factorisation?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Find the degree of this polynomial. thats what this problem is . and yes please.

OpenStudy (butterflydreamer):

the degree of a polynomial is the HIGHEST exponent (power) . So looking at the polynomial you're given, what is the highest power?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

8

OpenStudy (butterflydreamer):

correct ^_^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you help me work it out i have no clue what to do .

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is 8 the answer

OpenStudy (butterflydreamer):

hmm.. when it asks for degree it means the exponent (power). Is this question just asking for the degree? Do you have any multiple choice options? Since we have 8 as our degree, this means the polynomial is an octic :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Find the degree of this polynomial. -10q8 + 7q3 + q2 thats what my problem say.

OpenStudy (butterflydreamer):

oh then i think it's just 8 then :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanks hun!

OpenStudy (butterflydreamer):
