Could someone please explain black holes to me that i can understand? I am wrighting a paper and I dont understand the websites explaining it.

Black holes are the result of a star that has collapsed on itself. When that happens the star's center becomes more and more dense until it has infinite density and creates a huge gravity well. the gravitational pull of a black hole is so strong that nothing can escape its pull, not even light
