Mitosis is where a complete cell makes copies of itself and then splits into two, and cell translation, i'm pretty sure is not, like, in the same unit as this stuff.

Asexual only requires one of what is trying to reproduce, like a coral, it buds, which is asexual, and sexual reproduction, which requires a male and a female, which is present since sperm is made by a male and the egg is made by the female.
