A=Bxt+C (t) help me with this math problem

OpenStudy (freckles):

what are you doing with it?

OpenStudy (freckles):

Are you solving A=Bt+C for t?

OpenStudy (freckles):

or is that A=Bxt+C

OpenStudy (freckles):

what is x multiplication sign or variable ?

OpenStudy (mahmood786123):

Simplifying A = Bxt + c(t) Multiply c * t A = txB + ct Reorder the terms: A = ct + txB Solving A = ct + txB Solving for variable 'A'. Move all terms containing A to the left, all other terms to the right. Simplifying A = ct + txB

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A=Bxt+C (t) THATS how the problem is

OpenStudy (freckles):

no directions?

Theres your answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thankx

OpenStudy (onepieceftw):

\[A=B \times t +C\] This?

OpenStudy (mahmood786123):

Your welcome

OpenStudy (freckles):

the the thing is why is the (t) way far away I don't think A=Bxt+C (t) means A=Bxt+C(t) I think A=Bxt+C (t) means something else but @tona has yet to provide any directions

OpenStudy (onepieceftw):

It's solving for t. I was helping tona about 5 minutes ago.

OpenStudy (freckles):

and does x means multiply or it x a variable I wonder?

OpenStudy (onepieceftw):

If x is the multiplication then you subtract c from both sides and divide both sides by B.

OpenStudy (mahmood786123):

@tona which one do you think it is

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got it now thanks i just needed the starting point

Your welcome
