Sandy is upgrading her Internet service.Fast Internet charges 60$ for installation and $50.45 per hour.Quick Internet has free installation but charges $57.95 per hour. Part A: Write an equation that can be used to find the number of months at which the Internet service would cost the same. (i got 60+50.4x=57.95x which is correct but i dont know how to solve equations like this) i only need help in part B Part B:solve the equation @StudyGurl14

OpenStudy (fibonaccichick666):

So what is part B?

OpenStudy (fibonaccichick666):

ahah I see it now

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont know @FibonacciChick666

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (fibonaccichick666):

ok, so we have \[60+50.4x=57.95x\] We want to solve it for x

OpenStudy (fibonaccichick666):

so any idea on what to do first?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok well the only thing i need is how to solve these equations because i doze off in class

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@FibonacciChick666

OpenStudy (fibonaccichick666):

Like I asked, what do you think you need to do first?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think you subtract something...maybe x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@FibonacciChick666

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nevermind @FibonacciChick666

OpenStudy (fibonaccichick666):

Well you will subtract first, and you will subtract the x term, so give it a try and show me what you get

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got the answer all ready to the whole equation i had asked someone @FibonacciChick666

OpenStudy (fibonaccichick666):

ohk, then please close the questiono
