well in parallelograms, opposite angles are equal so you can set the two angle measures equal and solve
2x + 100 = 6x + 84?

would i subtract 84 from 100

yes and 6x-2x and go...
4x = 16 then divide by 4 and get x = 4?
correct now sub 4 for x to find the angle we solved for then we go to the next step
2(4) + 100 = 6(4) + 84
8 + 100 = 24 + 84
