What was "The Black Hand". What were the goals of the organization?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The Black Hand was a group that was significant to how World War 1 started. They wanted to unify all Serbians. They also gained indepedence from the austro-Hungarian empire, which they hated and assasinated franz Ferdinand (uncle of the emperor of austro-hungarian empire) The assasination caused a chain reaction with the allies who sought to protect the country of Serbia and also the Austro-Hungarian empire. Serbia's ally, Russia, demanded that the Austro-Hungarian empire not to invade the Serbians.. --> Germany threatened Russia for this threat --> British and the french threatened Germany for threatening Russia. Then Japan came to help the British ... Basically the Black Hand's desire to unite the Serbs and by killing the uncle of their previous ruler caused allies to come in and fight (hence the first world war) Sorry if i made any factual information!
