MEDAL FOR HELPING: The sign always falls down when it is windy. The sign is still standing. What is the missing reason in the indirect proof that it is not windy? A.(1) contradicts (2) B.(2) contradicts (1) C.(1) contradicts (3) D.(3) contradicts (1) im so confused because its 3 that contradicts 2 but that isnt an option

OpenStudy (godlovesme):

Hmm... im not really good with indirect proofs but I think the answer should be either B or D because at the end the assumption should be contradicted

OpenStudy (lexi724):

the only other thing i can conclude it C so im super confused

OpenStudy (lexi724):

or D because its the same thing different order

OpenStudy (godlovesme):

I'm leaning toward D but not fully sure .. :/ @igreen any ideas? :)

OpenStudy (jack1):

3 contradicts 1 i think... but also just a guess

OpenStudy (igreen):

Yeah..D sounds correct.
