How do I solve 1/2*(square root of 58)*(square root of 58)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

multiplying two square roots together essentially gets rid of the square root all together and leaves the inside number. so do you know what that leaves you with?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

find square root of 58 and divide it by 1 over 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

actually, multiplying the square roots together would just get rid of them, so it would be (1/2)*58

oh that makes sense! Thank you!
