Look at all the answer choices. Median would be a better choice than mean for the data sets that have one value that is much lower or higher than the other values.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so wait im not sure if i get it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i find the numbers in the middle again?

OpenStudy (studygurl14):

For example. Look at A. The values are 45, 47, 49, 52, and 94. Notice how 94 is a lot higher than the rest of the values. That will influence the mean in a way that it won't accurately reflect the center. That means that median would be a better choice. So A is one of the answers. Can you find another answer choice like this?

Ill try

b and c?

OpenStudy (studygurl14):

so...a and c
