Which of these is a major function of RNA? A. to make ribosomes B. to transport genetic information C. to make nucleic acids D. to direct activities in the cell

OpenStudy (aaronq):

Can you eliminate any of these?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i thank it is a or b

OpenStudy (aaronq):

I would say it's A, but B is also plausible. B makes sense because mRNA is what comes out of the nucleus and is transcribed, and A because ribosomes are mostly rRNA. I would say A though because mRNA does not transport itself, it's aided by proteins

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thank you

OpenStudy (aaronq):

no probs
