All of them except for B make a bunch of sense to me.
A, C and D are all things that would be scouted in making a civilization. The river was a clean, flowing source of fresh water (Which by history of Rome, we know that they harnessed these waters) Seaports are essential for a civilization. From harvesting of seafood, to international trade. and then we see the climate, which was a really good thing for them. Every civilization needs to farm, so the climate is essential. But the hills really sound irrelevant to me. The protection for cities like this in that time was the walls that surrounded the city.
