Ryan opens a bank account with $50. Each month he deposits an amount that doubles his savings. Ryan gets $2 from the bank each month as an incentive for maintaining this savings pattern. Which recursive function represents the amount in Ryan’s account in any month? next = 2 × now + 2, starting at 50 next = 2 + 2, starting at 2 next = now + 2, starting at 50 next = 2 – now, starting at 50 next = 2 × now, starting at 2

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

hmmm looks very obvious I"d think

OpenStudy (matlee):

The top one looks most reasonable to me because it has all the equation 2x+2=50 but i think it should me 52x=y

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

next, is double whatever he has "now", + the incentive from the bank, or 2 or next = 2*now + 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

They are both right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so are you saying it would be the first one
