Two cyclists depart from the same point. One travels due East at 18 km/h while the other travels North-West at 20 Km/h. How long (to the nearest minute) will it be before they are 80 Km apart?

find the velocity of the 80m distance line by using the cosine rule, then if you have the distance and the velocity you can work out the time y
that was a good hint did you get answers ? velocity =35.11 km/hr so time 80/35.11 =2.28 hrs
