will give medal and become fan

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Please help me @k_lynn

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

Product means the answer that you get after you multiply. The rules of multiplying are that: 2 positives make a positive. ++=+ 2 negatives make a positive --=+ 1 negative and 1 positive make a negative +-=- https://www.mathsisfun.com/multiplying-negatives.html ^ this validates what I just said. So what you need to do is count how many positives and negatives there are in each problem. So let's start with A. Count the negatives and positives. How many negatives are there and how many positives are there?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

all are negitive

OpenStudy (anonymous):

B 2 are negitive and 2 are positive

OpenStudy (anonymous):

C all but one are negitive

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

Right. So now we can multiply them and see what we get. Which one has a negative answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

one sec

OpenStudy (anonymous):

let me check them

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

okie doke.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A. 168

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

That's what you said the answer is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for A ya

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no that's not my choice it's one of the answers

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

Oh, ok. So since the problem wants a negative answer, then A can't be right.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ya

OpenStudy (anonymous):

B is 672

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so not B

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

Yep, not b.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

C is -108 so that could be it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

D = 0

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

Right. What do you get for D?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so C

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

Yep, so C is the correct answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks for the medal I gave you one to

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks for the help

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

Sure, no problem.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes I got 80% mastered yippy

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks
