A square wire loop (side L = 17.2 cm) oriented in the xy-plane and centered on the x axis enters a region where the magnetic field (B = 0.754 T) is first oriented in the +z and then in the −z direction, as shown in the diagram. The magnetic field is zero outside the shaded area. Assume W = 17.201 cm. The loop moves at speed v = 2.58 m/s in the +x direction.

What is the induced emf in the loop when the centre of the loop is at x = −W? What is the induced emf when the centre of the loop is at the origin?
when the centre of the loop is at x=-w then the emf is = BvL and when the centre of the loop is at the origin the induced emf is 2BvL.
