A snail is at the bottom of a 10 ft wall. Each day it climbs up 3 ft. Each night it slides back down 1 ft. On which day will it reach the top of the wall? A. day 3 B. day 4 C. day 5 D. day 6

this means each day the snail will advance 2 feet overall, but begin with a 3 feet climb, so work out how many days it will take the snail to get about 7 feet when moving at 2 feet a day, then add one to that total.
