see here u are changing the unit from mm2 to cm2. so the actual surface area doesnt change. cm2 is bigger than mm2. so when u increase the unit then you have to shift the decimal towards the left. thus the number reduces. 1cm2=100mm2 xcm2=50mm2 find out x.
