I think they're trying to tell you that x which is the height above the ground at some point is supposed to represent the x-axis of the function f because it's the domain

okay and they are saying the domain is the height of the ferris wheel so that could repeat, so the answer is that it is not a function? haha if im doing that correctly!

Yeah, the height can repeat but I think they were saying f(x) = "Time spent on a ferris wheel" they're not asking for the height
