OpenStudy (narissa):

does anyone know lines and intercepts

OpenStudy (narissa):

standard form -3y=8-4y

OpenStudy (freckles):

so you want to write -3y=8-4y in standard form? I think standard form is Ax+By=0 But you will A is 0 since you have no x's So the form you want to shoot for is By=0

OpenStudy (narissa):

I think its 4x+3y=8

OpenStudy (freckles):

so that means the equation above -3y=8-4y is incorrect? you mean it to be -3y=8-4x?

OpenStudy (freckles):

if that is the case to write in Ax+By=C form And I didn't meant to write Ax+By=0 above :p

OpenStudy (freckles):

you need to just add 4x on both sides

OpenStudy (narissa):

no

OpenStudy (narissa):

what I wrote first is the question what I wrote second I was saying is the answer

OpenStudy (freckles):

standard form -3y=8-4y well there are no x's so you can't introduced x's

OpenStudy (freckles):

standard form is Ax+By=C and since you have no x's A is 0 so you want to write your equation in this form By=C

OpenStudy (freckles):

to do that you still need to add something on both sides

OpenStudy (freckles):

add 4y on both sides
