How does (4-x)/4x(x-4)= -1/4x?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4x(4-x) = -1 (4x^2 - 16x)

OpenStudy (matt101):

Because (4-x) is the same as -(x-4), you're just factoring out a -1. Once you do that, (x-4) reduces out and all you're left with is -1/4x!

Man that was a clever trick. Thanks matt101 and Jas!
