Well for a lot of reasons really. Hitler was an amazing public speaker! One of the best if not the best public speaker. And thats all about wording. If you word something just right you can get almost anyone to believe you, and to not only believe you but fight with u. 
something similar thats in todays world is the bible says being gay is wrong so people believe its wrong. Use Hitler as the bible and Jews as the gays. (just trying to give u a connection not start a debate) 
Hitler wassnt just killing jews he was testing them. He literally thought that they were an outrage and should be destroyed. And he got people to stand with his beliefs.
