you ended up not being the catastrophe they claimed you were

but you never were what i anticipated

they prepared me for a tornado
hiding me in the basement
and barricading the doors to my heart

but you were no tornado

you were a hurricane

composed of
manipulative wind
and self-righteous rain

my barricade and sentinel never stood a chance against your all consuming tidal waves

i silently observed you seep through the cracks in my walls
and flood all i know
with the disaster you so confidently are

and in the end my preparations were meaningless
as you invaded my existence
and happily destroyed
everything i was

OMG THIS IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! I usually like am very critical even though its good and it doesent matter so then like @ispike said, it is AWESOME
