question in comments :D
Then foxes barked in the hills and deer silently crossed the fields, half hidden in the mists of the fall mornings.
In this sentence, Carson mostly uses a _________ tone.
cautious peaceful frightened melancholic
I think it is cautious but the context is peaceful and also frightened seems right. I guess i could just eliminate D
Why do you think it sounds frightening?
maybe the foxes are frightening to the deers
what do u think @AnswerMyQuestions ?
No, I don't believe so. :/
I would also eliminate B and D. It would not be frightened, because if that was the case, the phrase should have shown the reaction of the deers when they were spotted by the foxes. Hence I vote for A.
Don't just give out the answer... ;-;
okay so it is A ?
That is my conclusion.
@AnswerMyQuestions do u support A ?
No.
why not ?
I don't believe it is cautios.
*cautious
so u say it is peaceful ?
Yes, I believe that is the correct answer. :)
can u explain how? You just said that giving out answers in not right. So pls explain it
*is
