What is produced by the process of meiosis? A. four haploid cells B. two diploid cells C. two haploid cells D. four diploid cells I know it is going to be 4 cells I just can't figure out the difference between diploid and haploid.

Haploids, sex cells. have only 1 set of chromosomes - sperm and ova are haploids and combine at fertilization to make a complete set. Diploids fully replicate.
