OpenStudy (natsent06):

Two angles are supplementary. The larger angle is eight times the smaller angle. What are the angles?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so if they're supplementary that means that they both add up to 180 degrees

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and if one is 8 times the other, it's like saying 8x while the other is x, right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So how would you set it up to solve if you have to add the two for it to be supplementary?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@natsent06

OpenStudy (natsent06):

im thinking my head hurts

OpenStudy (natsent06):

idk

OpenStudy (anonymous):

8x + x = 180 Do you think you can solve it now?
