Check my answer? Simplifying indicated value?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Kinda think its either B or A not sure

OpenStudy (math&ing001):

How did you get A or B ?

OpenStudy (math&ing001):

Here we need to plug in (a+h) and a into the function f like this : f(a+h) = 10(a+h)^2 + (a+h) f(a) = 10a^2 + a and then simplify.

OpenStudy (misty1212):

HI!!

OpenStudy (misty1212):

"simplify" means "multiply using the distributive law, then combine like terms" at the end you can cancel the common factor of \(h\) top and bottom

OpenStudy (misty1212):

btw it is definitely not A or B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ahh okay would that make it D then? @misty1212 @math&ing001

OpenStudy (math&ing001):

Yep, correct !

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you @math&ing001

OpenStudy (math&ing001):
