Hey guys tell me what you think about this suggestion.

It should be for every person someone invites to OS they should get like some kind of award like OwlBucks or can buy something for the Emporium when it comes out.
I remember this from this website i use to play a game on, you would invite 10 and get the gold start or something. It should be like that. This site would get a lot of exposure and become FAMOUS. :D

Well the whole point of OwlBucks is to get funds. Inviting people doesn't necessarily mean that they pay to use os. So if you get OwlBucks for free then the site isn't earning anything (and if you ask a QH, they won't get paid either).

At one point, OpenStudy was awarding like a medal for each person you invited. Not sure if that still happens.

Owlbucks are worth money why should you be paid to invite people? like @EclipsedStar said OS would be giving money rather than earning and then they wouldn't have any to fix the problems and pay employees

I think they shouldn't be giving anything....inviting is optional it is totally up to you to invite people why should OS be giving you something to invite people? I would do it more out of generosity if you really want something ask for smart cents :P

I advertised OS on my fb page XD people did join i did it out of generosity i did not ask for anything @sleepyjess has also done this we haven't asked for anything

mainly everyone does something for a reward not just to do it.. No one enters Family feud just to play. they enter just to win the CAR :D

thats another 10 people to the site and each kid does it imagine how many people we would have! You see :) not everything in life needs a reward sometimes you just do it for the sake of others

yea but only a few people wont make a difference. Its like only telling your class to invite people to the party. You have to get a lot people with papers posting it on buses and restaurants etc. not just from a few students who will go home and tell there friends and family.

Well if im not mistaken I think the reward is 1 medal for every person that joins OS.

Plus in the every ones profile, under "team work" (not the trophy room) it does say how many people you have invited.
