Which statement does not accurately describe the Hundred Years' War? A. Convinced that God had told her to lead an army against the English, Joan of Arc won the Battle of Orléans. B. At the end of the war, England lost all its territory in France except for the port of Calais. C. Edward III’s son, the “Black Prince,” captured Paris and the French king, but France did not surrender. D. New armor gave mounted French knights a big advantage over English foot soldiers.

I know A and B because those are both true. Not sure about C and D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well I would go with D because I believe that the french knights had better armor than the english, but I'm not entirely sure about this question.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know the a lot of the French were killed by archers.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think then that it would be C because if the french had great armor than archers wouldn't be able to attack them, their armor should shield from that.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't think the “Black Prince,” captured Paris and the French king.

also I think both sides fought on horses based on some of the artwork I've seen about the hundred years war.
