Please help in finding a course for mastering C++ programming

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

To be honest, c++, java, etc. does not matter much. what you need is a solid introduction to programming concepts. Because C, C++, and Java have many similarities, any of those would be a good forundation for learning things that will be similar to how they would be in C++. So start with any of those, then change up to C++ once you know what programming is about.

OpenStudy (rsmith6559):

As far as intro courses, I recommend Stanford's CS106 A and B, Programming Methodologies and Programming Abstractions. The first course is in Java, the second is C++. http://see.stanford.edu click on the Courses button.
