Anyone got any tips on an essay "Memories from my childhood" ? Just general tips ?

Try to make it descriptive, include how you were feeling and your reactions. Show the reader don't just tell them. Also maybe you should pick an event from your childhood that was significant to you so that you can say what you learned from it, or how it changed you.

It takes time and from different perspectives, take the very best idea you think is the best and just expand on it for the idea you want to write about the most

write as a child. dont use your knowledge that youve gained from your years. children make blatant observations. think back to a time where you remember things that seemed insignificant to you at the time, but now you see what went over your head. kind of like how when you were a kid you watched cartoons and now, older, you notice all the jokes you missed as a kid. write with that innocence.
