Which of the following forces is responsible for keeping the planets in orbit around the Sun? A. electromagnetic force B. friction C. gravity D. magnetism

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what do you think?

OpenStudy (cloudx):

what keeps us from flying?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think it is not electromagnetic force, or gravity, or magnetism. I think it is friction because in the problem it already gives us the meaning of friction, we need to keep the planets to orbit around the sun right, so if the planets want to move to different places, to not let that happen we are using friction

thanks for the medal rasheem0 =]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it was me who gave medal

OpenStudy (cloudx):

oh sorry, thank you shifu

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yw :)

OpenStudy (cloudx):

it is gravity because because the bigger the mass of an object the more gravity the object has. It is the reason why the earth is not too far or too close to the sun,- not too hot or too cold due to the moon's gravity effect toward earth.
